How to add a watermark to a photo

  1. Type the watermark text, such as your name, your website or © 2026 Your Business.
  2. Drop one or more images into the box. The first one shows a live preview.
  3. Adjust the position, size, color and opacity until it looks right, then download each image or all of them as a zip.

Tips for a good watermark

  • A corner watermark at 40 to 60% opacity is visible without spoiling the photo. It suits portfolios and social media.
  • Repeat across image is much harder to crop or edit out, so use it for photos you send to clients before they pay, or for product photos that others might copy.
  • Keep the shadow on for white text. It keeps the watermark readable over bright skies and white backgrounds.

Frequently asked questions

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The watermark is drawn in your browser, so your photos never leave your device.

Does the watermark scale with the image?

Yes. The size is a percentage of each image, so the watermark looks the same on a small phone photo and a large camera photo.

Can I add a logo instead of text?

Not yet. For now the watermark is text, which can include symbols such as © and your website address.
