How to delete pages from a PDF
- Drop your PDF into the box, or tap it to choose the file. A preview of every page appears.
- Click a page to mark it for deletion, or type page numbers such as 2, 5-7 and click Delete these. Click a deleted page again to keep it.
- To change the order, drag pages to a new spot or use the arrow buttons under each page.
- Click Save PDF to download the new file. Your original file is left as it was.
Reordering pages
On a computer, drag a page and drop it where it should go. On a phone, use the arrows under each page to move it one place earlier or later. Reverse order flips the whole document, which helps with pages scanned back to front.
The page numbers under each preview are the original page numbers, so you can still type them into the delete box after moving pages around.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The pages are removed and reordered in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
Does deleting pages lower the quality?
No. The pages you keep are copied into the new file exactly as they were, with the same text, images and fonts.
Will links and bookmarks still work?
Links to websites keep working. The bookmark list in the sidebar and fillable form fields are not carried over, and links that jump to another page in the same document may stop working.
Can I keep only a few pages instead?
Yes. For a long document it can be quicker to use Split PDF and extract the pages you want to keep.
